Thank you for buying the Philips LivingWhites luminaire control plug! This plug lets you connect
your luminaire to a Philips LivingAmbiance product, so that you can create the right ambiance to
suit the moment.

1. Take the plug out of the packaging
2. Choose the mode of operation with the switch:
a. "DIM" if you have a dimmable bulb in your luminaire. This mode lets you enjoy the maximum
possibilities of Philips LivingAmbiance
b. "ON/OFF" if you have a non-dimmable bulb in the luminaire, or if you have a luminaire with a
touch dimmer. This mode lets you connect your luminaire to Philips LivingAmbiance and make
it part of your scenes.
3. Insert the plug of your luminaire into the LivingWhites plug, and then plug the LivingWhites
plug into the wall socket.
2. Connecting your luminaires
You can now connect your luminaire to a Philips LivingAmbiance remote control. Specically, you
can connect it to:
- a Philips LivingColors remote which has light selection buttons (triangular arrows) on it
- a Philips LivingWhites remote
- a Philips LivingAmbiance remote
The procedure for all the above remotes is the same:
1. Bring the remote close to the LivingWhites plug.
2. Press and hold the "I" button on the remote. Your luminaire will start ashing. Hold the "I" button
until you hear a beep from the remote and see the lamp ash rapidly twice.
If you would like to disconnect the LivingWhites plug from the remote, bring the remote close
to the plug, then press and hold the "0" button until you hear a beep. The light will ash at least
twice and switch off.
