Optional: Connecting to a Multi-
channel Receiver
Receiver has a Dolby Digital
decoder
1 Select one of the video connections
(CVBS VIDEO IN or COMPONENT
VIDEO IN) depending on the options
available on your TV.
2 Connect the audio outputs to the
corresponding input sockets on your
Receiver (cable not supplied) based on the
number of audio channels available as
follows:
● 2 channel: Connect the [FRONT (L/R)]
jacks.
● 5.1 channel: Connect the [FRONT (L/R),
CENTER, REAR (L/R) and SUBWOOFER]
jacks.
● 6.1 channel: Connect the [FRONT (L/R),
CENTER, REAR (L/R), BACK SURR. (L)
and SUBWOOFER] jacks.
● 7.1 channel: Connect the [FRONT (L/R),
CENTER, REAR (L/R), BACK SURR. (L/R)
and SUBWOOFER] jacks.

3 Set the DVD Player’s Analog Output to
‘5.1 or 7.1 Multi channel’ to enable
playback of DVDs recorded in Multi-
channel. (see page 31 “Setting the analogue
output”).
Helpful Hint:
– If the subwoofer is equipped with its own
amplifier, the Subwoofer connection should
be connected directly to the subwoofer.
