Enter the recording’s start time.
Press the PLAY button or the STOP button repeatedly
until the desired hour appears. Press the F.FWD button.
Press the PLAY button or the STOP button repeatedly
until the desired minute appears. Press the F.FWD but-
ton.
Finally, press the PLAY button or the STOP button to
point to AM or PM. AM or PM will flash beside the time.
Press the F.FWD button.

Press the PLAY button or the STOP button repeatedly
until the desired month appears. Then, press the F.FWD
button.
Next, press the PLAY button or the STOP button repeat-
edly until the desired day appears. Then, press the
F.FWD button.
The day of the week will appear automatically. You can not pro-
gram the VCR to record more than one year in advance.

• The TIMER PROGRAMMING menu
will not appear at step 1 if the
clock is not set. Follow the steps on
pages 14-15 to set the clock.
• Enter the information while the
space is flashing.
• Press the REWIND button to go
back one step from the current step
during steps 2-8.
• To stop a started timer recording,
press the STOP/EJECT button on
the VCR.
