When making connection, to this unit or when changing connections, always be sure to check that the
unit in standby by pressing the STANDBY/ON switch, and unplug the power cord from the power
outlet.
Please also refer to the operating instructions for the components that you are connecting to (AV amplifier,
TV etc.).

Connecting the Player
• Connect the TV with S-VIDEO terminal to the S VIDEO OUT
terminal of this player.
• Connect plugs to the terminals that match the plug’s
color (white, red, yellow, and black).

• Connection cords that we recommend be connected are indicated in grey tone ( ).
If you cannot use the connection cords we recommend, use the light grey tone ( ) cords.
• As DVDs have various audio formats depending on the disc, after making connections, use the menu on this unit to set the
output to the setting that matches the disc. (Page 35)
• Connection method will differ depending on the components being connected.
