Connections
 Do not connect the power cord until all other connections have been made.
 Audio Connection: There are stereo audio output and coaxial digital audio output;
Video Connection: there are video output and S-video output. You can choose
anyone to connect.
Connecting to a TV
The connection is shown as following:
1. In this figure, there are VIDEO OUT and S-VIDEO OUT. If the TV has S-VIDEO IN
jack, you can achieve more vivid picture by connecting this jack.
2. Setup of the DVD Player
You can move courser to “TV TYPE” in “PREFERENCES” to select the corresponding
color system depending on your TV connected.
1) If TV system is PAL, set “TV TYPE” to “PAL” in “PREFERENCES” setup.
2) If TV system is NTSC, set “TV TYPE” to “NTSC” in “PREFERENCES” setup.
3) If TV system is MULTI, set “TV TYPE” to “MULTI. SYSTEM” in “PREFERENCES”
setup.
 “PREFERENCES” is not available while a disc is playing. (During playback, press
the STOP button twice repeatedly to stop playback completely).
 You can select any one of video out connections depending on the TV type.
