PCR8 Quick Start
EIA-232 Serial Connection
1. With the computer powered ON, connect the included APCSDB9F adapter into the serial port of the computer.
Connect one end of the included Cat5 cable to the APCSDB9F adapter and the other end to the RJ-45 port on the PCR8
unit. Plug the PCR8 into the nearest wall outlet.

2. Load serial port communications software.
3. Set serial communications parameters to:
• 9600 bps
• 8 data bits
• 1 stop bit
• No Parity
