5.8.5 EVENT-PRESET
This function allows each Speed Dome Camera wired to the DVR for quick setup of event detection and
positioning to the initial location allocated per each event such as sensor input or motion detection.
9 SENSOR PRESET: Determine a preset number of each specific event sensor. When the preset
sensor detects input signal, determine a PRESET number of each channel to command
PRESET MOVE.
9 MD PRESET: Determine a preset number of each specific sensor of MD event. When the
preset channel tracks MD event, determine a PRESET number of channel to command
PRESET MOVE.
- The system ignores repeated events detected in a channel within the time
interval designated in the ‘LEAST HALT TIME’ zone of submenu ‘EVENT’ of
‘EVENT CONFIGURATION’ menu.
- In case that the Speed Dome Camera receives consecutive PRESET MOVE
commands issued by events with short time interval, delay of MOVE
command execution or command cancellation can happen owing to reaction
speed limitation of the camera.
- SPD Model: The system will cancel any new PRESET MOVE command during
execution of previous PRESET MOVE command, i.e. , the system executes any
new PZT command only after the completion of ongoing MOVE command.
- It is recommended not use PRESET MOVE function of ‘ALRAM MANAGER’
menu of Network Manager Program during execution of EVENT-PRESET
function of DVR.
- During manual execution of PTZ control with controller, remote network
program, touch panel key and so forth, Event-Preset command issued by new
event may collide with ongoing manual PTZ control, hence, required PRESET
MOVE command or manual PTZ control may not function.
If you have installed Speed Dome Cameras from multiple suppliers, you are
strongly recommended to use single program protocol for all.
