To set a password
Setting Parental Lock

Press MENU and the main menu screen displays.
Now a password is required to input.
Press 0 – 9 number buttons to input the password(4-digit, the default
password is 0000 and you should change it). Now Lock menu opens.
Press 3or4to select Lock menu, press 6 to access the menu.

Parental Lock enables parents to prevent their children from watching inappropriate material on TV. Parental Lock reads
the ratings for programming (except for news, sports, unedited movies on premium cable and Emergency System signals
), then denies access to programming if the program's rating meets the limitations you select. In this case, the program will
be blocked.
To use the Parental Lock function, you first need to set your password.

Select Change Password item, press 4or ENTER to access.

Enter the new password using 0 – 9 buttons.
Enter the same password again to confirm.
Now the screen will go back to Lock menu, the new password has
been created successfully.
! To avoid forgetting the password, write it down and keep it in the safe
place.
! If you do forget the password, you may use master password (1397) to
access the Lock menu and set a new password. Do not let children know
it.

To Enable Parental Lock

Use password to access Lock menu.
To set up blocking scheme and to enable the blocking scheme
you set up, you should set to ON.
To disable the blocking scheme you set up, please set it to OFF.

Press 5or6 to select System Lock item, then press 3or4 to turn
the System Lock ON or OFF.

Press MENU to return to previous menu. Press EXIT to exit the
menu screen.
