Signal meter
In order to receive digital air broadcasts, you need
a digital broadcast antenna. You can confirm the
antenna configuration through the “SIGNAL METER”
menu.
If necessary, adjust the direction of the antenna to
obtain the maximum signal strength.
Signal strength
Press TV MENU and the MENU screen
displays.
Press ϵ/϶ to select
(SETUP).
Press ϳ/ϴ to select “SIGNAL METER”.
Press ϵ/϶.
• The strength of the digital signal is displayed.
The signal information is based on the current
channel.
Press EXIT to return to the normal screen.

Auto shut off
In case of “AUTO SHUT OFF” feature is “ON”, if a
station being viewed stops broadcasting, the TV will
automatically shut itself off after 15 minutes.
Press TV MENU and the MENU screen
displays.
Press ϵ/϶ to select (SETUP).
Press ϳ/ϴ to select “AUTO SHUT OFF”.

Press ϵ/϶ to select “ON” or “OFF”.

Press EXIT to return to the normal screen.

NOTE
• If Auto Shut Off is ON and the broadcast signal is weak,
the TV may automatically shut itself off. If this happens,
turn Auto Shut Off to “OFF”.
Setting the on timer
(for LC-32DV22U only)
This feature allows you to have the TV automatically
turn on at a predetermined time. If you program the
ON TIMER to “DAILY”, the TV will turn on everyday at
the same time to the same channel.
Set the clock, if you have not already done so
(see page 18).
Press ϵ/϶ to select “SET”, then press
ENTER.
The “ON TIMER” menu appears.
Press EXIT to return to the normal screen.

(OPTION).
Press ϳ/ϴ to select “ON TIMER”.

Press ϳ/ϴ to select “ON TIMER”, then
press ϵ/϶.
Press ϳ/ϴ to set the desired hour, then
press ϶.
Please note if the hour is AM or PM, and
choose desired setting.
Set the desired minutes and start up
channel, as in step 6.
Press ϵ/϶ to select “ONCE” or “DAILY”,
then press ENTER.

NOTE
The TV will automatically turn off approximately 1 hour
later after the ON TIMER turns on. To continue watching
the TV, press any button to cancel the one hour automatic
shut off.
After a power failure or disconnection of the power, the
timer settings will be lost.
Select “RETURN” and press
ϵ/϶
to return from ON
TIMER menu to OPTION menu.
To cancel the on timer, select “CLEAR” at step 8.
