12Press X/x to select the center speaker
distance from the listening position,

Center speaker distance can be moved up to
1.6 meters (5 ft) closer to the listening
position from the front speaker distance.
13Press X/x to select the surround
speaker distance from the listening
position, then press .
Surround speakers distance can be moved
up to 5.0 meters (16 ft) closer to the
listening position from the front speaker
distance.
Quick Setup is finished. All connections
and setup operations are complete.
To quit the Quick Setup
Press DISPLAY in any Step.

• If you change the position of the speakers, reset the
speaker settings. See “Getting Optimal Surround
Sound for a Room” (page 57).
• If you want to change any of the settings, see “Using
the Setup Display” (page 59).
To recall the Quick Setup display
1 Press DISPLAY when the system is in
stop mode.
The Control Menu display appears.
2 Press X/x to select [SETUP], then
press .
The options for [SETUP] appear.
3 Press X/x to select [QUICK], then press .
The Quick Setup display appears.
Selecting the output method for
video signals
Selects the output method for video signals from
the EURO AV T OUTPUT (TO TV) jack on
the rear panel of the unit.
1 Press FUNCTION repeatedly to select
“DVD.”
2 Press VIDEO FORMAT.
Each time you press VIDEO FORMAT, the
display changes as follows:
• “LINE VIDEO”: outputs video signals.
• “LINE RGB”: outputs RGB signals.
Note
• If your TV does not accept RGB signals, no
picture appears on the TV screen even if you
select “LINE RGB.” Refer to the operating
instructions supplied with your TV.
