Getting Started
TV Control and Indicators
Buttons located at the right side of the TV will operate the same as these buttons on the remote control.
Side Panel and Indicators
Item Description
1 Speaker Outputs the audio signal.
2 TIMER LED Lights up in orange when the timer is set. When the timer is set, this LED will remain lit
even if the TV is turned off. For details, see page 32.
3 LAMP LED The projection lamp has burned out. Replace it with new one (see page 43).
4 POWER LED Lights up in green when the TV is turned on. Also lights up in red during the diagnostics.
5 (IR) Infrared
Receiver
Receives IR signals from the remote control.
Do not put anything near the sensor, as its function may be affected.
6 POWER Press to turn on and off the TV.
7 CHANNEL +/– Press to scan through channels. To scan quickly through channels, press and hold down
either +/–.
8 VOLUME +/– Press to adjust the volume.
9 INPUT Press to display the list of External Inputs and TV mode.
Press repeatedly to toggle through the inputs.

Menu items such as the TV Settings, TV channels and External Inputs list (see

is displayed, the 7, 8 and 9 become navigational buttons. Use them
to navigate on the XMB

. When HOME is pressed again, these buttons will activate
the CHANNEL +/–, VOLUME +/– and INPUT operation.
