Using the Channel Menu
To select the Channel Menu
1 Press MENU.
2 Move the joystick B or b to
highlight the Channel icon
and press .
3 Move the joystick to highlight
an option. Press
to select
an option.
4 Move the joystick V v B b to change settings. Press to select
the changed setting.
5 Press MENU to exit the Menu.

The Channel Menu includes the following options:
Favorite Channels
Channel Fix: Off
Auto Program
Digital Channel
Channel Skip/Add
Channel Label
Select:

Option Description
Favorite Channels Lets you set up a list of your favorite channels. For
details, see Using Favorite Channels on page 60.
Channel Fix
Useful when you
have a cable box
or satellite
receiver
connected
Off Turns off Channel Fix.
2-6 Fix your TVs channel setting to 2-6 and
use the cable box or satellite receiver to
change channels. Select one of these
settings if you connected the equipment to
the VHF/UHF jack.
Cable 2-6 Same as 2-6, except you select one of these
settings if you connected the equipment to
the CABLE jack (see page 17).
Video 1 Use this setting if you have connected the
equipment to the A/V input jacks.
Auto Program Automatically sets up the channel list on the TV for all
receivable channels.
Auto Program may take several minutes. A progress bar
will display the approximate progress of the Auto
Program and Digital Channel Add sequences.
Digital Channel Add Select to add digital channels.
Channel
Skip/Add
Allows you to customize the analog channels that appear
when you use the CH+/- buttons.
1 Move the joystick V or v to scroll through the
channels until you find the channel you want to skip
or add. Then press to select it.
2 Move the joystick V or v to toggle between Add or
Skip. Then press to select.
3 To add or skip more channels, repeat steps 1 and 2.
4 Move the joystick B to return to the Channel Menu,
or press MENU to exit the Menus.
Channels that you set to be
skipped can be accessed only
by direct (0-9 buttons) tuning.
