series of actions (macro) for a key/button
Macro operation using the Timer function
You can set the Remote Commander to perform a series of actions at a desired
time. This is called a Timer macro. Create a Timer program key and program a
Timer macro for the key. If a Timer macro is set to be executed, the c indicator
appears at the top of the display.
About the edit display for the Timer program key
In this section, we explain about the edit display for the Timer program key.
The following items can be set to the Timer program key. The setting can be
performed by selecting a setting item tag.
[TIME]:To set the operating time of the timer macro to the Timer program
key.
[MACRO]:To set the timer macro to the Timer program key.
[COPY]:To copy the contents of the timer macro from another Timer
program key.
[LABEL]:To set the label to the Timer program key.
[DELETE]:To delete the Timer program key.
[TEST]:To check the execution of the timer macro by transmitting the
remote control signal of the timer macro set to the Timer program
key to a component.
Notes
• Before setting a timer macro, check that the system clock of the Remote Commander is
correct. If not, a timer macro will not be performed correctly. For details on setting the
system clock, see “Setting the system clock (CLOCK)” (page 220).
• The Timer program function cannot be edited with the supplied application “NAVITUS
Design.”
• The timer of the Remote Commander is weekly, so a Timer program you set will work
every week as long as it is set to ON. If you want to execute the Timer program only
once, set the execution of the Timer program to OFF after the Timer program has
executed.
