Zooming a Picture
You can magnify areas within a picture.
Zooming a picture
To hide the monitor display and icon during
zoom playback
Press / / / to select EXIT, and press ENTER.
To resume normal playback
Press ZOOM repeatedly until the monitor display and
icon disappear.
Alternatively press
/ / / to select ZOOM on the
icon, and press ENTER repeatedly until the monitor
display and icon disappear.
Notes
Some discs may not respond to zoom feature.
During some scenes, the buttons may not work as
described.
Zooming does not work on characters selected on menus.
While the icon is displayed, / / / /ENTER cannot
work on menus included on DVD video discs. If you want to
view the menus, cancel the zoom playback.
The magnification level varies depending on the picture size
you select.

When using a DVD audio disc that includes pictures, this
operation may be permitted in some picture segments.

Press ZOOM during normal, slow or still
playback.
The player enters the zoom playback
mode, and a monitor display and
icon appear.
e.g.
: As you repeatedly press the ENTER
(or ZOOM) button while ZOOM is
selected, the magnification level
changes.
Variation of the levels includes
image reduction.
: If you press the ENTER button while
EXIT is highlighted, you can turn
off the icon, keeping the current
magnification level.
You can shift the highlight within the
icon by the
/ / / buttons.
If you press and hold the
/ / /
buttons, the zoom point shifts.
