andpluggedintoaworkingpowersource?Fortheproducttofunction
properly,itmustbeconnectedtoandreceivingpowerfromtheexternal
power supply.

Wasthepowertotheconnecteddevicesturnedoffpriortoinstallation?
Ifnot,restartthem.

Whatresolutionareyoutryingtoreach?TrippLite’sHDMIsplittersare
testedtosupportupto1080p@60Hzvideoresolution,at36-bit(12-
bitsperchannel)DeepColor.

WhatlengthHDMIcableareyouusing?(SeetheInstallationsectionin
thismanualfordetailsonthemaximumcabledistance).Theshorterthe
cablebeingused,thehighertheresolutionyouwillbeabletoobtain.If
youarenotabletogetanacceptableimage,tryusingashortercable,
orloweringyoursource’svideoresolution,orcolordepthsettings.

Whattypeofcablingareyouusing?Inferiorcablingcanresultinpoor
performance,soitisimportantthatyouusecablesthatcansupport
thevideoresolutionyouaretryingtoobtain.Itisrecommendedthat
youuseTrippLite’sP568-SeriesHigh-SpeedHDMIcables,asthey
havebeentestedtoworkwiththeB118-Seriessplitters.

Testyour cablestoensure theyareworking properly.Forexample,
connectyourHDMIcablebetweenasourceandmonitorthatyouknow
workstoseeifthecableisfunctioning.

Istheunitlocatedinanareathatexposesittohighertemperatures?If
theproductisoverheated,itwillnotfunctionproperly.
