Chapter 3 Using your
Setup Wizard
1. Connect the Power Cable
Connect the power cord to the power cord
connector on the back of the HDTV, and
then plug the power cord into an AC wall
socket.
2. Connect Audio and Video Cables to the
HD'rV
(see Chapter 2 for detailed steps)
3. Turn Power On
Once all the components are connected,
press the Power ON button on the side of
the HDTV, or on the remote control.
4. Initial Setup
After powering on the TV set, the Initial
Setup Welcome screen will come up.
Press the • button on the remote control.
The Language choice screen will be
displayed; the default English option is
highlighted. If you wish to change the
OSD language to Espafiol or Fran£;ais,
press the • button on the remote control
to select the language you want.

Back _ Select _ Next _ Exit
Press the • button on the remote to go to
the next screen.
The next screen will display the options to select
between Home Mode and Retail Mode, selecting
Home Mode will save energy.
PJease select Home mode when
installing this TV in your home
Retail Mode
Press the • button on the remote to go to the
next screen.
If Retail Mode is selected, the next option will
allow you to switch your selection back to Home
Mode.
Press the • button on the remote to go to the
next screen.
