CHANGING THE DVD MODE SETTINGS
DETAILED SETTINGS
Set the parameters for 6CH DISCRETE output to suit the
speaker system.
If you select “Multi-channel” from the Setup menu, set
parameters a

to the speaker system.

The indicator is displayed above and below the
speaker icons.

Speaker size options:
L: Large, Small
R: Large, Small
C: Large, Small, None
SW: Used, Not used
LS: Large, Small, None
RS: Large, Small, None
The left (L or LS) speaker size is automatically
assigned to the right (R or RS) speaker. (For example,
if you select Large for the L speaker, the R speaker
will automatically be set to Large.)
Example: Left rear speaker

No icon appears when the speaker is not used.

This icon appears when using a large speaker
capable of low-frequency (under 100 Hz) output.

This icon appears when using a small speaker that
is not capable of low-frequency output.
•Factory default speaker-size settings:
