1.2 Accessory information
To ensure that the unit operates properly, we
recommend the use of Panasonic toner cartridge and
drum unit. See page 65 for specifications.
1.2.1 Available accessories
– Replacement toner cartridge (KX-FAT90E)
– Replacement drum unit (KX-FAD91E)
L We cannot be responsible for any damage to the unit
or degradation of print quality which may occur from
the use of a non-Panasonic toner cartridge and drum
unit.

1.3 Description of buttons
L Keep the front cover page open for button locations.
A Station keys
L To use the one-touch dial feature (page 22, 29).
B {MANUAL BROAD}
L To send a document to multiple parties manually
(page 29, 30).
C {BROADCAST}
L To send a document to multiple parties (page 29,
30).
D {FLASH}
L To access special telephone services or for
transferring extension calls.
E {CALLER ID}
L To view caller information (page 24).
L To change the display of the caller information
(page 24).
F {REDIAL/PAUSE}
L To redial the last number dialled. If the line is busy
when you make a phone call using the
{MONITOR} button, the unit will automatically
redial the number up to 9 times.
L To insert a pause during dialling.
G {SET}
L To store a setting during programming.

L To initiate dialling.
When you press {MONITOR} during receiving a
call, you will be able to hear the other party, but
the other party will not be able to hear you.
P {STOP}
L To stop an operation or programming session.
L To delete a character from names and telephone
numbers (page 19).
L To return to a previous step during operation.
Q {FAX}{START}
L To start sending or receiving a fax.
R {COPY}
L To copy a document (page 38).
S {QUICK SCAN}
L To store a scanned document into memory, and
