When the Subject is not Centered
(Shooting with Focus-lock)
When your subject is not in the center of your
composition, compose your photo after focusing. (Focus-
lock)
Example: Taking a photograph of the castle in the background with the camera
focused on a person in front.
1. Pr ess the Power button to turn the camera on.
For how to turn the power on, see P.22.
2. Switch the Mode Selector to 5.
3. Put the subject of your photo right in the center of the LCD
Moni tor or the Viewfin der and press the shutter button
halfway.
