Ringtones
(MENU 2-1-3)
You can download melodies from the Wireless Web
and then set one as your current ring tone.
To download melodies:
1. Select
D/L new melody
and press .
You are sent to the web site preset by your
service provider.
2. Scroll to the item you want to download using
the Navigation keys and follow the instructions
on the screen.
You can also use items in the
User melodies
menu
(
MENU 2-1-3-2
).
To set a melody as your ringtone:
1. Select
User melodies
and press . The list of
downloaded items displays.
Note
: You can erase items in the
Memory Status
menu (
MENU 3-5
).
2. Scroll to the item you want by pressing the
Navigation keys and press .
3. Press to set the melody as a ringer.
4. To exit, press .

Animations
(MENU 2-1-4)
You can download animated images from the
Wireless Web and then set one as your background
display image.
To download animated images:
1. Select
D/L new Animation
and press .
You are sent to the web site preset by your
service provider.
2. Scroll to the item you want to download using
the Navigation keys and follow the instructions
on the screen.
To set an image as a background display image,
select
User images

Voice Portal
(MENU 2-1-5)
This menu allows you to access your service
provider’s voice-activated service. You can get
headline news, information on movies, the weather,
finance, traffic, or restaurants in many cities, plus
other features; it’s similar to the kind of content
that’s available on a web portal.
Note
: Voice Portal is a network feature. Please contact
your service provider for further details.
E-mail
(MENU 2-1-6)
You can use the E-mail service, which allows you to
send or receive e-mail messages.
