Camera
Using the camera module built into your phone, you
can take photos of people or events while on the
move. You can send photos to other people using a
message or set photos as a Wallpaper image or an
image to be displayed when you turn on or off the
phone.
You can also record a video by using your phone as
a camcorder.
Note
: You can quickly enter this menu by pressing the
key on the right side of the phone in Standby
mode.
CAUTION
:
• Do not take photos of people without their
permission.
• Do not take photos in a place where cameras are not
allowed.
• Do not take photos in a place where you may
interfere with another person’s privacy.

The camera produces JPEG photos.
Note
: When you take a photo in direct sunlight or in
bright conditions, shadows may appear on the
photo.
Taking a photo with the phone open
1. In Standby mode, press and hold the
key on
the right side of the phone.
The image to be captured appears on the
display.

2. Adjust the image by aiming the camera at the
subject.
Note
: If resolution is set as high, zooming cannot be
used.
4. Press the
Capture
soft key or
key
to take the
photo.
When you are taking multi-shot images, the
camera takes photos successively.
5. Press the
Save
soft key.
To discard the photo and go back to Capture
mode, press the
Cancel
soft key.
6. Enter the photo name you want.

7. Press the
OK
soft key.
The phone saves the photo(s) in the
Photo
album
menu (
Menu 9-3
) and returns to
Capture mode.
