TV Settings
Use this menu to set the TV screen size and the TV output channel.
Screen Size
Choose between a 4:3 standard or a 16:9 widescreen screen size.
TV Output Channel
Select either channel 3 or channel 4 to be your TV output channel by using the
button.
Note: The TV output channel is the channel your TV must be tuned to in order
to watch DIRECTV if you are using the TV OUT coaxial cable connection.
Highlight and Select the TV Settings item
in the Setup menu.
Press the button to toggle between
4:3 standard and 16:9 widescreen.
System Status
System Status
The System Test menu checks whether or
not your system is operating normally.
This screen tests your satellite tuner, access
card, and telephone connection, and
displays technical system information.
The test also displays the electronic serial
number of your Multi-Satellite Receiver
and the access card ID number.
