DEALER SET-UP INSTRUCTIONS & CHECKLIST for
SNAPPER PRO HYDRO MID SIZE WALK BEHINDS
STEP 1: Unpack & remove Power Unit from its shipping crate.
STEP 2: Unpack & remove Mower Deck from its shipping
crate & packing materials.
STEP 3: Remove belt cover from mower deck by removing the
retaining knobs.
STEP 4: Place a 4” block under rear of mower deck. Roll
power unit into the deck & secure with retaining bolts.
STEP 5: NOTE: When installing adjustable deck
assemblies mount deck to power unit in the lowest
mounting holes and then go to Step 6. When installing
fixed deck assemblies use the following instructions.
Mower deck can be attached to the power unit in any one of
four cutting height positions. Decide now on height of cut !
Refer to Figures 1 through 4 for the cutting height settings.
Make sure the spacers on the caster wheels are moved up or
down as shown to correspond with the bolt positions to keep
deck level.

STEP 6: Once a desired cutting height is reached attach the
mower deck to the power unit by installing 3 bolts on
each
side in selected height of cut holes. Tighten bolts to 70 to 80
foot pounds torque. See Figure 5.

STEP 7: Place caster wheels in correct position to correspond
to selected cutting height by pulling the retaining pins and
shifting the spacers up or down. See Figure 6.

STEP 8: Working from front side of the mower deck, slide the
belt around the clutch pulley groove on the underside of the
power unit (Directly under engine). See Figure 7.
