By default, the unit is set to the English language. The screen display text can be displayed in several languages.
1 Press . To return to the main menu, press
several times.
2 Press ¥ or and select SETUP.
3 Press or and select LANGUAGE.
4 Press .
5 Press or to select the desired setting.
6 Press to save the settings.

Set Wide Screen Format
Use this function to display programms broadcast in wide screen format.
1 Press . To return to the main menu, press
several times.
2 Press ¥ or and select SETUP.
3 Press or and select ASPECT.
4 Press .
5 Press or to select the desired setting.
6 Press to save the settings.
The following settings are available:
Auto: Sets the display automatically to the broadcast format.
Normal:
The format 16:9 is suppressed. The format 4:3 is not adapted a black area is displayed on the left and the right.
Full: The format 16:9 is displayed as broadcast. The format 4:3 is horizontally spread.
Zoom1: The format 4:3 is vertically spread.
Zoom2:
Like zoom1 but the whole picture is moved upwards so that text at the bottom of the display becomes visible.
Panorama: The format 16:9 is displayed as broadcast. The format 4:3 is horizontally spread. In this the outer areas of
the picture are modified more than the centre of the picture.
