Use the CURSOR , to select a function.
press ENTER to set a function or to turn it on or off.
MTS MODE (Multi-Channel Television Sound) will allow you to select STEREO (a
stereo broadcast), SA (second audio) program which may be a secondary language,
weather report, etc. or MONO (monaural sound) used when receiving a weak stereo
broadcast.
The sources received will be displayed below the channel number. The source you
select will be displayed to the left of the channel number. See example below for each
selection when both stereo and second audio are received (monaural is always
received).
DYNAMIC BASS
This function allows you to enjoy spectacular bass sound that would normally be heard
only with expensive home speaker systems.
LOUDNESS
- Due to the characteristics of the human ear, the bass and treble seem to drop off when
the sound volume is decreased. Therefore, the "LOUDNESS" function, when turned
"ON" will increase the bass and treble to compensate for this drop off.
This function will improve the quality of both low and high frequency sounds when
listening at low volume levels.
INT. SPEAKERS
This function allows the user to turn off the TV speakers. Therefore, no sound will be
emitted from them. This function is useful when first setting up the external speakers, or
if you prefer to use only speakers from a separate stereo system.
For external speaker with Internal/External switch, sound reproduction is as follows.
Int. Speaker: ON
Switch to Int.: Internal Speaker is ON
