Setting up your television
Selecting a location
Place your television on the floor or on a sturdy
platform in a location where light does not
directly hit the screen.
Place your television far enough from the walls
to allow proper ventilation. Inadequate
ventilation may cause overheating, which may
damage your television.
Mounting your television
The NS-20LCD is a VESA compliant LCD
television. It can be wall mounted using a
standard VESA compliant mounting bracket.
VESA compliant mounting brackets are available
at most electronics stores. The bracket size
should be 100 mm x 100 mm.
To remove your television base:
1 Place your television, face down, on a soft,
cushioned, non-slip, non-abrasive surface.
Make sure that it cannot slip or slide.
2 Remove the screws that are holding the base
in place.

12 Power switch Use to turn the television on the first
time.
13 Wall mounting

Connect to a standard VESA compliant
wall mounting bracket.
Button Description
1 INPUT Press to select your input source
from: TV, Video, S-Video, VGA, and
Component inputs
2 SCAN Press to scan through the available
television channels.

Power
Press to turn the television on or off.
4 CCD Press to turn on the closed caption
feature.
5 PARENT Press to access the parental controls.
6 LOCK Press to set the child lock. Press again
to unlock the television.

7 SAP Press to select your audio setting
from: SAP, Stereo, or Mono
8 MUTE Press to turn the sound off. Press
again to turn the sound back on.
9 MENU Press to access the on-screen menu.

Press to move the cursor up or down
in a menu.
11 Adjust setting

Press to select or adjust a setting in a
menu.
12 OK Press to confirm the adjustment you
made or to return to the previous
menu.
13 S.MODE Press to select the sound mode.
14 RECALL Press to return to the previous
channel watched.
15 P. M O D E Press to select the picture mode.
16 VOL +/ Press to increase or decrease the
volume.
17 CH +/ Press to change to the next or
previous channel.
18 Numeric pad Press to type in the channel numbers.
19 SLEEP Press to set the sleep timer.
20 DISPLAY Press to display the current channel
and audio mode information.
Note
Remove your television base before attaching the wall mount.
