Adjusting other settings
To adjust other settings:
1 Press TV MENU on the remote control, then
press / to highlight the Function icon.
The
Function
menu opens.
2 Press / or ENTER to enter the
Function
menu.
3 Press / to select one of the following
settings, then press / to change the
setting. You can select:
• Menu Set—When Menu Set is
highlighted, press / or ENTER to
enter the
Menu Set
sub-menu. In the
Menu Set sub-menu you can select:
• Menu Language-English, French, or
Spanish.
• OSD H-Position (OSD horizontal
position).
• OSD V-Position (OSD vertical
position).
• Zoom Mode—Wide1, Wide2, Normal,
Zoom, or Cinema. (In VGA mode, only
Normal or Wide1 are available.)
• Sleep Timer—Select the sleep time you
want.
• Closed Caption—Off, CC1, CC2, CC3,
CC4, Text1, Text2, Text3, or Text4.
• Parental Controls—For additional
information, see “Setting the parental
controls” on page 16.
• Restore Default-Select this option, then
press ENTER to restore your TV combo
to the factory settings.
4 Press TV MENU one or more times to close
the menu.
Setting the parental controls
To set the parental controls:
1 Press TV MENU on the remote control, then
press / to highlight the Function icon.
The
Function
menu opens.
2 Press / or ENTER to enter the
Function
menu.
3 Press / to select Parental Controls,
then press / or ENTER to enter the
Parental Controls
sub-menu. The
Enter
Password
screen opens.
4 Enter the password with the number buttons
on the remote control (the default password
is 0000). The
Parental Control
sub-menu
opens.
5 Press / to select one of the following
settings, then press / to change the
setting. You can select:
• Change Password-For more information,
see “Changing the password” on page 17.
• System Lock-On or Off. (Movie Rating,
TV Rating, Canada Eng, and Canada
Fre are only available when System Lock
is set to On.)
