3 Press / to select one of the following
settings, then press / to change the
setting. You can select:
• Sound Mode—Standard, Movie, Music,
Sports, or Personal.
•Bass
•Treble
• Balance
• MTS—Mono, Stereo, or SAP (MTS is
only available in TV mode).
• Audio Only—When Audio Only is
highlighted, press / or ENTER. The
image disappears but the sound remains.
Press any button to restore the image.
• SPDIF TYPE—PCM or Raw.
4 Press TV MENU one or more times to close
the menu.
Adjusting advanced settings
To adjust advanced settings:
1 Press TV MENU on the remote control, then
press / to highlight the ADVANCED
icon. The
ADVANCED
menu opens.
2 Press / or ENTER to enter the
ADVANCED
menu.
3 Press / to select one of the following
settings, then press / to change the
setting. You can select:
• Sleep Timer—Select the sleep time you
want.
•Closed Caption—Off, CC1, CC2, CC3,
CC4, Text1, Text2, Text3, or Text4.
• System Lock—For additional
information, see “Setting the parental
controls” on page 15.
• Picture Enhance—Off or On.
• Restore Default—Select this option, then
press / or ENTER to restore your TV
combo to the factory settings.
4 Press TV MENU one or more times to close
the menu.
Setting the parental controls
To set the parental controls:
1 Press TV MENU on the remote control, then
press / to highlight the ADVANCED
icon. The
ADVANCED
menu opens.
2 Press / or ENTER to enter the
ADVANCED
menu.
3 Press / to select System Lock, then
press / or ENTER. The
Password
box
opens.
4 Enter the password with the number buttons
on the remote control (the default password
is 0000). The
System Lock
sub-menu opens.
5 Press / to select one of the following
settings, then press / to change the
setting. You can select:
• Change Password—For more
information, see “Changing the password”
on page 16.
• System Lock—On or Off. (TV Rating,
Movie Rating, Canada Eng, or Canada
Fre are only available when System Lock
is set to On.)
• TV Rating—For more information, see
“Setting the parental control level - TV
ratings” on page 16.
• Movie Rating—For more information, see
“Setting parental control levels-Movie
ratings” on page 16.
