24H Express Timer Programming
You can programme a timer recording that starts within 24 hours.
A
Access 24HR Express Timer Programme display
Push 24H EXPRESS #. “ ” and start time start blinking on the
display panel.
B
Set programme start time
Turn the JOG dial to the left or right. Then, push the JOG dial.
“ ” and start time start blinking on the display panel.
● One click stop of the JOG dial changes the time in 5-minute
intervals.
C
Set programme stop time
Turn the JOG dial to the left or right. Then, push the JOG dial and
channel number will start blinking.
● One click stop of the JOG dial changes the time in 5-minute
intervals.
D
Set channel position
Turn the JOG dial to the left or right. Then, push the JOG dial and
channel number will start blinking.
● You can cancel the setting at any time by pressing and holding
the JOG dial for more than 3 seconds. Repeat from the step 2.
E
Engage recorder’s timer mode
Press 24H EXPRESS #.
The recorder turns off automatically and “#” appears on the
display panel.
NOTES:
● If “Err” appears on the display panel, repeat the steps again.
● When a menu screen is shown, you cannot use 24H Express
Timer programming function. Press MENU to return to normal
screen, and try again.
● You can use 24H Express Timer programming function also
when the recorder is turned off.
● For 24H Express Timer programming function, the program
overlap warning display does not appear even if some programs
overlap each other.
● In case of a power failure after programming, the recorder’s
memory backup keeps your selections (if the lithium battery is
not exhausted).
Check, cancel and replace programmes
A
Disengage timer mode
Press #, then press 1.
B
Access Program Check screen
Press ".
C
Access Program screen
Press " again to check more
information. Each time you press ", the
next programme’s information appears.
D
Cancel or replace a programme
Press & to cancel a programme.
To replace a programme, press the appropriate button: START +/–,
STOP+/–, DATE+/–, PR +/–, DAILY, WEEKLY and/or p.
● If you do not want to edit the programme title, skip steps

E
Access title edit screen
Press the number key “1”. The Title Edit
screen appears.
● You can access the title edit screen only
when “PROG. NAVIGATION” is set to
“ON”. (

Enter programme title
P
ress the number keys and PUSH JOG e
to enter characters, then press OK. For
details, refer to “Entering character” on
page 14.
G
Return to normal screen
Press " as many times as necessary. If there are still some
programmes remaining, go on to step 8.
H
Return to timer mode
Press #.
Before performing the following steps:
● Insert a cassette with the safety tab in place. The recorder will
come on automatically.
