Thank you for purchasing the JVC Mini DV & HDD & DVD video
recorder. Before use, please read the safety information and
precautions to ensure safe use of your new unit.
The lightning flash with arrowhead symbol, within
an equilateral triangle, is intended to alert the user
to the presence of uninsulated “dangerous
voltage” within the product’s enclosure that may
be of sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of
electric shock to persons.
The exclamation point within an equilateral
triangle is intended to alert the user to the
presence of important operating and maintenance
(servicing) instructions in the literature
accompanying the appliance.
CAUTION:
A UNIT IS A CLASS 1 LASER PRODUCT. HOWEVER THIS
UNIT USES A VISIBLE LASER BEAM WHICH COULD CAUSE
HAZARDOUS RADIATION EXPOSURE IF DIRECTED. BE
SURE TO OPERATE THE UNIT CORRECTLY AS
INSTRUCTED.
WHEN THIS UNIT IS PLUGGED INTO THE WALL OUTLET, DO
NOT PLACE YOUR EYES CLOSE TO THE OPENING OF THE
DISC TRAY AND OTHER OPENINGS TO LOOK INTO THE
INSIDE OF THIS UNIT.
