Preparation
Turning on the KARAOKE function
1
Press DIGEST-KARAOKE while holding down
SHIFT to turn on the KARAOKE function (or
press KARAOKE on the front panel).
Each time you perform the operation above, the
karaoke function switches on and off.
When “on,” “KARAOKE” appears in the display
on the front panel.
Connecting microphones

Connect microphone(s) to the MIC 1/2 jack(s)
on the front panel.

audio, you cannot turn on the KARAOKE function.
• During program or random playback, you cannot turn
on the KARAOKE function.

KARAOKE function indicator
• While an Audio CD disc is selected (not only during
playback but also while stopped), the input signals from
the MIC 1/2 jacks are not output from the DIGITAL OUT
jack.
• To adjust the microphone volume, use MIC 1/2 LEVEL.
Turning it clockwise raises the level, while turing it
counter-clockwise lowers the levels.
