1 Press the number button corresponding to the
controlled camera to display its image in the
single screen display mode.

2 Press the PTZ button.
•
The PTZ mode starts and the button illuminates.
•
While the recorder is in the PTZ mode, "PTZ" is
displayed on the screen.

Adjust the camera angle. (Tilt)
•
When you press the TILT button, the camera is
tilted up. When you press the TILT
button, the
camera is tilted down.

Adjust the camera angle. (Pan)
•
When you turn the SHUTTLE ring to the right, the
camera is panned to the right. When you turn the
SHUTTLE ring to the left, the camera is panned to
the left.

Adjust the camera zoom.
•
You can adjust the camera zoom by pressing the
CAMERA ZOOM button and then turning the JOG
dial to the left (wide) or right (tele).

Adjust the camera focus.
•
You can adjust the camera focus by pressing the
FOCUS button and then turning the JOG dial to the
left (far) or right (near).

Adjust the camera iris.
•
You can adjust the iris by pressing the IRIS button
and then turning the JOG dial to the left (close) or
right (open).

Register the preset positions of the camera.
•
To register viewing points, press the PRESET button
and then press the camera number buttons within 10
seconds. Up to 48 points can be registered.
For example, to register the current camera position
to preset number 2, press the PRESET button and
then camera number buttons 0 (10) and 2 in order.
Notice
• The recorder may not be able to register 48 points
depending on the system confi gured.

Move the camera to the registered preset
position.
•
When you press the PRESET MOVE button (camera
number 13) and then press the camera number
buttons within 10 seconds, the camera is moved to
the registered preset position.
For example, to move the camera to the registered
position 2, press the PRESET MOVE button and
then the number buttons 0 (10) and 2 in order.

Activate the auto pan function.
•
When you press the AUTO PAN button, the auto pan
function of the camera is activated.
•
When you press the PTZ button, the PTZ mode
exits.
Notice
• During PTZ operation by the buttons on the recorder,
the POWER button and the functions related to
playback do not work. Furthermore, menus cannot be
displayed.
• Operation of the camera may become impossible for
some reason such as a specification change of the
camera. In addition, some functions may become
invalid.

• For the camera settings and other detailed settings for
PTZ function, see "PTZ camera setting" on
page
116.
• Operations or functions performed with this recorder
are simplifi ed ones. They are not equivalent to those
of special control devices.
