STARTING FROM A DESIRED
TIME COUNT
1 Press the SEARCH MODE button twice
during playback
2 Press the numeric buttons to set the desired
time count.
¡
Example: 1 hour, 23 minutes and
30 seconds

Notes
¡In the case of DVD, Time Search in Title is effective,
but Time Search in Chapter is ineffective.
¡In the case of CD and Video CD, Time Search in
Track is effective, but Time Search in the entire disc
is ineffective.
¡Playback from a desired time count is not available
with some discs or if the unit is in stop mode.
¡If wrong numbers are entered, press the CLEAR
button and re-enter the correct numbers.

1 Press the MODE button in stop mode.

The program setting menu screen will appear.
2 Press the MODE button again.

3 Press the PLAY button. Random playback
will then start.
Note
¡Program playback is not available during random
playback.
MARKER SETUP SCREEN
Use markers to memorize your favorite places on a
disc.
1 Press SEARCH MODE four times (CD: three
times) during playback.
¡
The display screen and Markers will appear on the
TV screen.
2 Press s or B to select 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9
or 10 and ensure that - :- - :- -appears in
the display.
3 When reachs the desired point, press
ENTER.
¡
The Title or Track and elapsed playing time will
appear in the TV screen.
4 To return to the Marker later, press SEARCH
MODE four times (CD: three times) during
playback, and s or B to choose the desired
marker, then press ENTER.

Notes
¡Opening the disc tray, turning off the power, or
selecting AC at step 2 and pressing ENTER will
erase all Markers.
¡To clear a marker, using s or B, position the cursor
on to the marker number to be cleared and press
CLEAR.
¡You can mark up to 10 points.
5 Press SEARCH MODE or RETURN to exit.
