Using On-Screen Menu Icons
[DVD-V[ [RAM[ [VCD] [CD] [MP3] [WMA] [JPEG]
On-Screen Menu Icons are menus that contain information about the disc or unit. These menus allow you to operate the unit by changing this
information.
≥Select the unit viewing channel (or the AV input) on the TV.
≥Switch [VHS/TV/DVD] to “DVD”.
[1] Press [DISPLAY].
Each time you press the button:

[2] Press [21] to select the item.
[3] Change the setting with [34].
≥If “3”, “4” or both appear in each frame, you can select an item with [34].
≥Some items require pressing numeric buttons or [ENTER] for selection.
¬ To cancel the menus
Press [DISPLAY] several times. Or press [RETURN].
ªTo change the position of the icons
Press [21] to select the rightmost icon and then press [34] to move the icons.
≥There are 5 positions.

If a DVD title is a duet, select V1 or V2 to duet with the
unit.

Select a position to start play by specifying a time with the
numeric buttons and press [ENTER].
Example: To start from 1 hour 46 minutes 50 seconds

Changing the time display [DVD-V] [RAM] [VCD] [CD]
Press [34] to show the elapsed play time, remaining
time for the programme, play list, track or title or
remaining time for the disc ([VCD] [CD] only).
Elapsed play time [VCD] (SVCD only) [WMA] [MP3]
For display only, cannot be changed.
Subtitle language (lpage 39 [B])
Subtitles on/off
Track information on/off [MP3] [WMA] [CDtext]
Picture information [JPEG]
Full: Group title, picture title, picture size, file size, date
of shooting, and camera model used

Changing the angle to rotate [JPEG] 0>90>180>270

Total number of tracks/pictures on disc

Menu play [VCD] (with playback control)
Indicates whether menu play is on or off (display only).
Slideshow setting [JPEG] ON()OFF
Slideshow timing [JPEG] 0 – 30 sec
