Congratulations! You now own one of the most sophisticated
and simple-to-use video recorders (VCR) on the market. With
this VCR you can record and play VHS-standard cassettes.
Please take the time to read this operating manual before
using your video recorder.
Safety instructions and other notes
ADanger: High voltage!
Do not removethe top cover as there isa risk of an electrical
shock!
AThe video recorderdoes not contain any components thatcan
be repaired bythe customer. When the applianceis connected
to the power supplythere are some componentsthat are
constantly operational.To switch off the videorecorder
completely youmust disconnect it fromthe power supply.
BMake sure that aircan circulate freely throughthe ventilation
slots on the videorecorder.
BMake sure that no objectsor liquids enter the videorecorder. If
liquid isspilt into it, disconnectthe video recorder immediately
from the powersupply and call the After-salesService for
advice.
BThe video recorder shouldnot be used immediately after
transportation froma cold to a hot area or viceversa, or in
conditions of extremehumidity.
After unpacking thevideo recorder, it shouldbe allowed to
acclimatize for at leastthree hours before installation.
C These operating instructionshave been printed on nonpolluting
paper.
C Deposit old batteriesat the relevant collectionpoints.
C Please make useof the facilities availablein your country for
disposing of thepackaging of the video recorderin a way that
helps to protectthe environment.
