When the i.LINK connections are changed,
the following screen appears.
Press
ENTER
to return to the menu screen.
• Whether a receiver from the list has been
selected or not, this player will start
playback when you change the input
function of the receiver to this player.
• Note that some AV receivers may not be
compatible with this feature.
DVD-Audio Out
• Default setting:
5.1 Channel
You only need to make this setting if you
connected this player to other equipment
using the i.LINK interface.
Set this to
5.1 Channel
to enjoy surround
sound when playing multichannel discs.
To downmix a multichannel source when
using the i.LINK connection, set to
2 Channel
for stereo output.
• When set to
5.1 Channel
, you’ll only get
sound from all speakers when playing
multichannel discs.
• Some DVD-Audio discs don’t allow down-
mixing of audio. These discs always
output multi-channel audio regardless of
the setting made here.
