No Power Insert the power cord’s plug securely into the outlet.

No operations can be • The batteries in the remote may need replacing.

• Remove any obstacles between the remote and the DVD player or
other component.
• Remove batteries and hold down one or more buttons for 60 seconds
to drain the microprocessor inside the remote to reset it.
Reinstall batteries and try remote again. You may need to reprogram it.
The icon appears on screen • The feature or action cannot be completed at this time because:
1. The discs’s software restricts it.
2. The disc’s software doesn’t support the feature (e.g., angles).
3. The feature is not available at the moment.
4. You’ve requested a title or chapter number or search time that is
out of range.
No sound while playing a DVD • The DTS option is selected but your receiver has no DTS decoder, or you
don’t have a receiver connected.
