iii. ADVANCED SELECTION – This allows you to select
between various digital closed caption services. North
America broadcast usually uses service 1.
iv. OPTION – This opens up adjustments for the type of
digital caption style you want.
a. MODE – This either locks or opens up the
adjustments of the closed captioning.
b. FONT STYLE – This allows you to select
different font styles.
c. FONT SIZE – This allows you to select the size
of the captioning.
d. FONT EDGE STYLE – This lets you add 3D
effects to the font.
e. FONT EDGE COLOR – This lets you add color
to the edge style.
f. FG COLOR – This lets you add color to the
foreground of the captioning.
g. BG COLOR - This lets you add color to the
background of the captioning.
h. FG OPACITY – This adjusts the transparency
level of the foreground.
i. BG OPACITY – This adjusts the transparency
level of the background.
• RESTORE DEFAULT – This function resets all options under
SETUP.
Please Note:
• The TV’s native resolution is 1440x900. This resolution will
give you the clearest PC screen. Make sure you use auto
adjust to sync to the PC’s signal after connecting the TV to the
PC.
• All adjustments under option are only for digital channel
closed captioning, under analog channels these adjustments
are not available.
