Reserved for factory use.
Reserved (RES)
Enable motor start. This makes the drive wait
for the Start Unit command from the host before
starting the spindle motor.
Motor Start option (MTR)
Disable motor start (default). This causes the
drive to start according to the Delay Motor
Start option setting as described below.

Enable parity check of SCSI bus data (default).
Parity Check option (PAR)
Disable parity check of SCSI bus data.
Motor start delay equal to the SCSI ID multiplied
by 10 seconds. For example, if the SCSI ID = 2,
the drive will delay for 20 seconds before starting.
Delay Motor Start option (DMS)
(valid only if the Motor Start option
jumper is not connected)
Disable the Delay Motor Start option (default).
Write Protect = On (disables writing).
Write Protect option (WP)
Write Protect = Off (enables writing – default).
