Sound adjustments
You can adjust the sound quality to your preference
with the following settings.
Basic adjustment settings
Press ϵ/϶ to adjust the item to the desired
level.
NOTE
• For resetting all Audio adjustment items to the factory
preset values, press ϳ/ϴ to select “RESET”, and then
press ϵ/϶.
factory settings:
BASS .............................................................center (25)
TREBLE ........................................................center (25)
BALANCE .......................................................center (0)
Press MENU and the MENU screen
displays.
Press ϵ/϶ to select
(AUDIO).
Press ϳ/ϴ to select a specific adjustment
item (BASS, TREBLE, BALANCE).

Press ϵ/϶ to select “PCM” or “DOLBY
DIGITAL”.
Digital audio output
You can output digital audio to an AV amplifier or
similar device whose DIGITAL AUDIO INPUT terminal
is connected to the COAXIAL DIGITAL AUDIO
OUTPUT terminal on the TV. Please select an audio
output format compatible with the audio format of
the program you are watching and the equipment
connected.
Press ϵ/϶ to select
(AUDIO).
Press ϳ/ϴ to select “DIGITAL OUTPUT”.
Selected item Description
PCM The coaxial digital audio output
terminal outputs audio signal in
PCM form. If your digital audio
system does not support Dolby
Digital, select “PCM”.
DOLBY DIGITAL The coaxial digital audio output
terminal outputs audio signal in
Dolby Digital form. It reproduces
sound from surround program of
digital.
