Watching the TV
Button Descriptions
Button Description
1
MUTING Press to mute the sound. Press again or press VOL + to restore
the sound.

DISPLAY Press once to display the current channel number, channel
label, time and Wide Mode settings. The OSD (on screen
display) will be canceled after a few seconds or press again to
immediately cancel the display.

POWER
SAVING
Press repeatedly to cycle through the power saving modes:
Standard, Reduced, Picture Off. See Power Saving on
page 61.

FREEZE Press to freeze the picture. The current program appears in the
sub screen when freeze is selected. Press repeatedly to restore
the picture. You can use this feature to write down information
such as phone numbers, recipes, etc.
Some functions will not be available in freeze.

JUMP Press to jump back and forth between two channels. The TV
alternates between the current channel and the last channel that
was selected.

RETURN
Press to go back to the previous screen when displaying settings.

WEGA GATE Press to navigate to TV functions. See “Introducing WEGA
GATE” on page 42.

FUNCTION
Buttons
Press to have the remote control operate the equipment you
want. See “Programming the Remote Control” on page 34.

When FUNCTION is switched on DVD/VCR, these buttons
operate the video equipment you have programmed into the
remote control. See “Using Other Equipment with Your
Remote Control” on page 36.

TOP MENU Press to display the top menu of the DVD disc.

MENU Press to display the DVD disc menu or setup menu of the
connected Satellite Receiver.
Press again to exit from the menu.

manual of the connected equipment.
