Playable Discs
“DVD VIDEO” and “CD” logos are trademarks.
* A logical format of files and folders on DATA-CDs,
defined by ISO (International Organization for
Standardization).
Discs that cannot be played
CD-ROMs/CD-Rs/CD-RWs that are not
recorded in music CD or Video CD format, or do
not contain MP3 audio tracks or JPEG image
files.
Data part of CD-Extras
DVD-ROMs that are not recorded in DVD
Video format, or do not contain MP3 audio
tracks or JPEG image files.
DVD Audio discs
HD layer on Super Audio CDs
DVD VIDEOs with a different region code
(see page 34)
A disc recorded in a color system other than
NTSC, such as PAL or SECAM
