Check that you have received the following items with the VCR:

How to use this manual
The instructions in this manual are for the 5 models: SLV-SE840G, SE740G,
SE740I, SE240G and SE240I. Check your model name by looking at the rear
panel of your VCR.
SLV-SE840G is the model used for illustration purposes. Any difference in
operation is clearly indicated in the text, for example, “SLV-SE840G only.”
This manual mainly explains operations using the remote, but the same operations
can also be performed using the buttons on the VCR having the same or similar
names.
