• Depending on the disc condition, recording condition, or DVD device, discs may not play
even if the discs are finalized.
• The drive can finalize only the discs recorded on this drive.
• It may take about five minutes or more to finalize a disc. Please wait until [Finalize
Complete] is displayed.
You can erase the contents of DVD+RWs recorded on this drive. This
operation erases all of the contents in the disc at once.
1 Turn on the drive.
The busy indicator lights up in green.
2 Press EJECT, and insert a disc.
Wait until [Ready] appears on the display window.
3 Press FUNCTION/ENTER repeatedly to display [Erase All?] on
the display window.
Each time you press the button, [Finalize?], [Erase All?], [Auto Play?], [Auto
Chp], or [PlayerType] appears in sequence.
4 Press SELECT to select [Yes].
If you do not erase the disc, select [No].
5 Press FUNCTION/ENTER.
[Reconfirm?] appears on the display window.
6 Press SELECT to select [Yes].
If you do not erase the disc, select [No].
