4.5.1 Headset Level Settings
Headset mic
It is possible to adjust the headset microphone input level according to the sensitivity of the used
headset. The on-screen audio level indicator will make it easier to set the correct input level
settings. The input level should be adjusted so that the average level reaches within the yellow
area, preferably in the middle. The headset microphone input level are adjustable in steps of 1.5
dB from 0 dB to 22.5 dB.
Headset out
It is possible to adjust the audio output level to the headset loudspeakers.
Note that the TANDBERG 1000 MXP has separate volume settings for loudspeaker and headset
output. The volume keys on the remote control also adjust the level of the headset output when
the headset is activated by pressing the push-button, without changing the volume setting you
have for the loudspeaker. When changing back to the loudspeaker, you will get the volume
settings you had before you activated the headset.
