Using the strobe function
Press STROBE to start the strobe function. Nine-picture multi-strobe
starts for the current main picture. For example, you can watch a
decisive moment of a previously recorded sports program.
To cancel the strobe function:
Press STROBE again.
Using the LOCKS menu
The LOCKS menu includes the V-Chip, CH Lock, Video Lock, and
New PIN Code functions. You can use these functions after entering
the correct PIN code.
Entering the PIN code
1. Press MENU, then press x or • until the LOCKS menu appears.

• Factory reset status:
Set your 4-digit code by pressing the Number buttons (0–9).
• When the PIN code is already stored:
Press the Number buttons (0–9) to enter the 4-digit PIN code used to block
channels.

If a wrong PIN code has been entered, the message “Incorrect”
will appear. Enter the code again.
If you cannot remember the PIN code you have stored, while in
the PIN code entering mode, press the RECALL button four
times within five seconds. The PIN code you have stored will be
released (factory reset status will be restored).
3. Press ENTER to display the
LOCKS menu.

Note:
The STROBE feature does not work when the
main picture source is ColorStream.
