Watching video input
Press the TV/VIDEO button on the remote control or TV to select the
TVs signal source from a connected device such as a VCR or digital
video disc player. Select TV, VIDEO 1, VIDEO 2, VIDEO 3,
ColorStream HD1, or ColorStream HD2, depending on which input
jacks are used for connecting the devices (see Connecting your TV on
page 5).
The following on-screen display appears if you press the TV/VIDEO
button on the remote control; however, if you press the TV/VIDEO
button on the TV, a different menu appears (see page 17). The
current signal source is displayed in purple.

Selecting the 1080i picture size
If the 1080i feature is ON, when the TV receives a 1080i letter box
program on digital broadcasts, the picture size automatically changes
to the letter box format. If the 1080i feature is OFF, the picture will
be stretched to fill the screen to the conventional 4:3 ratio.
To activate the 1080i picture size:
1. Press MENU, and then press x or until the THEATER menu
appears.
2. Press y or z to highlight 1080I PICTURE SIZE.
3. Press x or to highlight ON.

To deactivate 1080i picture size:
Highlight OFF in step 3 above.
Note:
When ColorStream HD1 or HD2 is
selected, the video OUT jack does not
output a signal.
To receive a video OUT signal, a video or
S-video IN jack must be used instead of a
ColorStream connection.
If you select ColorStream HD1 or HD2
while the PIP is on the screen, the PIP will
close.
