Installation
The TV should be installed near an
easily accessible power outlet.
To prevent internal heat buildup, do
not block the ventilation openings.
Do not install the TV in a hot or
humid place, or in a place subject to
excessive dust or mechanical
vibration.
Avoid operating the TV at
temperatures below 41ºF (5ºC).
When the TV is transported directly
from a cold to a warm location, or if
the room temperature changes sud-
denly, the picture may be blurred or
show poor color due to moisture
condensation. In this case, please
wait a few hours before turning on
the TV, in order to let the moisture
evaporate first.
To ensure best picture quality, do not
expose the screen to direct illumina-
tion or sunlight. We recommend you
use spot lighting directed down from
the ceiling or to cover the windows
that face the screen with opaque cur-
tains. It is better that TV is installed
where the floor and walls are not of a
reflective material.
To Customers
To install the specified TV, sufficient
expertise is required. Make sure you
subcontract the installation to ViewS-
onic dealer or licensed contractors and
pay adequate attention to safety during
the installation.

This television includes a QAM
demodulator, which should allow you
to receive unscrambled digital cable
television programming via subscrip-
tion service to a cable service provider.

provided by your cable service pro-

tal cable television programming in
