Understanding User Interfaces
Emerge MPX1000 HD multipoint extenders are accessible through two primary user interfaces: an
on-board web server that allows browser-based configuration and system monitoring and a front
panel display that provides push-button access to system status and initial network configuration.
Browser-based configuration
Browser-based configuration is available for both MPX1000 transmitters and receivers. The web
interface provides access to the following functions:
• Configure system settings
• Configure network settings
• Display hardware and firmware version
• Display connection status and signal strength
• Update firmware
• Reboot system
• Reset to factory defaults
• Change password
Front panel display
The front panel of the transmitter has a 5-button menu display that provides access to the
following
functions:
• View receiver connection status, including signal strength and frame rate. Single receiver and
multi-receiver scan modes are supported.
• View receiver configuration, including receiver name and MAC address. Single receiver and
multi-receiver scan modes are supported.
• View transmitter configuration, including IP (L1) and MAC address.
• Configure transmitter IP settings (L1).
