Setting the traffic
announcement volume
➮ Press the MENU button 8.
➮ Press the button : repeatedly
until “TA VOLUME” appears on the
display.
➮ Use the or
button : to set the
desired volume.
➮ Once the setting is completed,
press the MENU button 8 or OK

You can also adjust the volume during
a traffic announcement for its duration
by using the volume control 2.

Traffic Information Memo
(TIM)
This car radio unit has a digital voice
memory in which up to four traffic an-
nouncements are stored. Traffic an-
nouncements are also recorded when
the car radio is switched off. The TIM
function must be activated.
Danger of damage to the remote
antenna at the car wash.
An automatic remote antenna stays
fully extended when TIM is activat-
ed. Before driving into the car wash,
deactivate the TIM function and then
switch off the car radio.
Switching TIM on/off
➮ Press the MENU button 8.
➮ Press the button : repeatedly
until “TIM ON” or “TIM OFF” ap-
pears on the display.
➮ Use the or
button : to switch
the TIM function on or off.
